leave the phone, take a book
Readers from Nitra
We approached 25 kindergartens, 37 schools, local library, 250 HD students to “Leave the Phone and Take a Book”. The idea was to send a photo with a reading project about reading an English book. It was promoted via Facebook, emails, leaflets and yH lessons. We collected more than 290 photos and projects. The highlight was a “Book Heroes Carnival”. We are so happy that our participants put away their phones and started reading books instead. We awarded them by YH certificates, Dragon Tales and ABc cards. Together, we made a change and we will continue doing so!
