Helen Doron Early English is based on the repeated hearing at home and positive reinforcement during the classes. When the children arrive in the classes, they are already familiar with the material from having heard it over and over again at home. All you have to do is to teach them the meaning level of the sounds they have already internalized. You do this through songs, games and activities – it's fun and easy for you and the students.
You have 7 consecutive years of materials to teach with. You know what you will be teaching the students this week, next week, in a month, in a year and in 7 years' time! You can feel free to be creative within this syllabus, without having to waste energy on looking for subjects and materials to teach your students week after week. And you have the security of knowing that you are teaching with a syllabus that is bringing the children systematically towards the goals of competence in vocabulary and grammar.
You are trained to work with the materials and will only be allowed to do so if you qualify from the Teacher Training Course and if you continue to do yearly seminars and attend the Annual Conference. This gives you the security of knowing that the teaching standards and good name of Helen Doron Early English are being maintained.
