English Through Drama
English Through Drama
For students aged 6 - 12 years, with beginner and pre-intermediate level English.
English Through Drama is based on the delightful tradition of a British pantomime stage. British pantomime is a far cry from silent pantomime shows: it is colourful, wacky, and tacky, with slapstick comedy and plenty of jokes to give children a fun, creative way to learn and practice spoken English.
Each group is ideally comprised of 5-10 students.
English Through Drama is appropriate for existing Helen Doron students, or students who are new to the programme.
In this learning set children experience weekly lessons of 90 minutes each and learn 4 stories and 4 audio CDs to be performed as British Pantomime, with about 300 new words in each story. The stories available are modern twists on some familiar classics: Goldilocks and Dreadlocks, Snow White and the Rappers, Cinderella, and Little Red Riding Hood. The course includes an assortment of fun activities, colouring, and stickers.
English Through Drama contains 4 audio CDs and 4 story/activity books with stickers. The CDs and books cover the stories performed in class.
This learning set comes in an attractive, practical carry-bag, to keep your books and CDs organized and in good condition for years to come.
